For the first time ever, the coffee flower’s natural essence has been used to create a world-class perfume. Charlotte Robert envisioned this product while visiting Costa Rica, and after being amazed by the scenery’s beauty and by the coffee flower’s freshness and richness.
This is how Fleur de Café, Ltda was born. After five years of research and testing, Mountain Blossom was created. The perfume was developed with a leading perfumer, who has worked for many internationally-renowned brands.
Mountain Blossom contains the essence of Costa Rica’s coffee plants’ flowers, grown on the La Arcelia coffee plantation in the province of Alajuela.
Moreover, a method was developed to collect the flowers allowing the beans to mature normally. The fragrance expresses the diversity of Costa Rica: as exotic as its tropical beaches, and natural and airy as its mountains.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS
In August 2008, Costa Rica’s Ministry of Economics, Industry and Commerce (MEIC) awarded Fleur de Café, Ltda with a formal recognition for creativity and innovation, and for being a Costa Rican company led by entrepreneurial women.
In October 2008, Fleur de Café won the Innovation Galardon from Costa Rica’s Chamber of Commerce. This award was granted to Fleur de Café, Ltda. for its production of the natural essence of one of Costa Rica’s most traditional products and for the formulation of this exclusive world-class perfume.
In December 2008, the Costa Rican newspaper El Financiero made special mention of Charlotte Robert’s (Fleur de Café, Ltda’s founder) entrepreneurship. This recognition was published upon the completion of her envisioned perfume, which was created from the coffee plant blossom’s natural essence.
